One of my pet ideas is to develop (or encourage someone else to develop) an advanced editing toolkit for PPro that would add useful features to the standard toolset. For example, there might be a selection tool that is frame based rather than clip based, i.e., you could select contiguous portions of a sequence that might include portions of clips rather than selection being limited to the whole clip.
My question is: is that level of programmability available in the SDK?
